The SCDSsupport.org Forum is family oriented. A significant reason for the success of the SCDSsupport.org Forum is the respect that members show for one another. Following some basic guidelines will help maintain the integrity of the group.

--- We, the owner, moderators, and administrators, reserve the right to remove any post at any time, for any reason. If, and it is rare, editing or removal is necessary, the user who posted will receive a private message explaining the reason for deletion or modification.
--- Users should make an attempt to post your questions and comments in the most appropriate section. This will help you receive a more timely response.
--- Users should try to not post the same message in different sections of the forum.
--- The use of profanity is not allowed and will be edited by the moderators.
--- "Flaming" of other participants is unacceptable. We are all different and have varied opinions. Personal attacks against any individual or organization will not be tolerated.
--- All users must treat other members, moderators, and administrators with respect, speaking to them kindly and without harsh words. Treat others as you would want to be treated, remembering that words typed are not always interpreted in the way we intend them to be.
--- Spamming, in any form or registering multiple names, is not permitted and will be removed without notice and the poster will be deleted and banned.
--- Use of the forum for solicitations by private/public agencies or individuals for any cause is also not allowed.
--- Posts are not permitted in which a local or state legal action and/or legal counsel is/have been involved. This includes posts related to future, ongoing, or past lawsuits.
--- You may post about problems or concerns you have with a doctor, facility, or insurer; however the use of the forums to repeatedly attack them is strictly forbidden. Users should be careful to simply post the facts of the situation so as to protect themselves from potential legal problems.
--- All users must respect the privacy of other users, keeping in mind that the SCDSsupport.org Forum is an internet based forum and as such is public domain. Access to the SCDSsupport.org Forum is controlled by membership, but no internet forum can be totally safe from hackers. Members may not post private information such as last name, telephone number, email address, snail mail address, or personal information related to someone else's health without the expressed written consent of the individual in question. This excludes the last name of physicians; and their business information.
--- All users must be aware and follow all copyright laws when posting information to the forum. Users will be responsible for any copyright issues which arise from their posts.
--- Most importantly, please remember that all information contained in this web site is intended for informational purposes only and is not intended to replace and should not be interpreted or relied upon as professional advice. Violations may result in loss of SCDSsupport.org Forum privileges and complaints being lodged with your Internet Service Provider. SCDSsupport.org Forum reserves the right to refuse and/or revoke membership to anyone without notice. If a member name is banned, it may not be reinstated.
